You can’t really blame people for wanting to work for you. The thing is, the people you do hire are just as important as the people you hire. They are the ones who keep you in business. And once you start working for them, you owe them at least the same loyalty that you owe your parents.

Companies and organizations are complex, and people get in trouble when they don’t understand how things work. But even if you don’t understand a lot of the technical jargon, you can still make a difference. You can make a difference by using technology. Your first job as a business leader will probably be to make sure that your employees understand how things work, because otherwise the people you hire will be in charge of making sure that they run the company.
