We need to remember that the time of day (or night) doesn’t matter as much as how much time we spend talking. If we are talking about anything important, for example, we need to make sure we are talking when it’s most important.
I don’t know about you, but I sure wish I could remember to be talking when the tide is in. In fact, there is a special place in the world for the tide to return during certain days. But we tend to forget that about the time of day, and the tide will stop, and we will be left on our own to do our thing.
One of the things that really helps with time management is to learn to be mindful of how much time we have to do things. I am a very impatient person by nature, and by the time I finish a task, I am usually pretty upset. This is why I like to get things done before I start thinking about it, and this is what makes time management so nice.
So you know if you’re watching the clock, you are already on time for a task. You just need to figure out when you are going to start working on it. This is one of the benefits of a good time management plan.
One way to do this is to have a plan for your to-do list. Once you have your to-do list, make sure you are checking it off as you complete each task in it. This will give you a sense of pride and accomplishment. If you find yourself procrastinating and going through your to-do list when you aren’t working on it, it is going to drive you crazy.
It’s not hard to be efficient when you have a to-do list. You just have to remind yourself to check it off. This way you can’t procrastinate and it will give you a sense of accomplishment instead of guilt.
I see this all the time in my life. I just keep thinking, “Ok, I will do what it says on the list,” but I also know that if I do, I will forget what the instructions say and the game will end for me. This is a good thing because it will make my life easier and it will allow me to get more done.
What I’m really wondering about though is what I’m doing. I don’t want to be the person who fails at something. I want to be the person who succeeds at it. So I guess I’m going to have to be my own master.
No, I don’t mean you have to train yourself to fail or never succeed at anything. The important thing is that you have to be able to plan ahead. If I am going to do something then I have to know exactly what I am doing, because if I am going to do something then I need to be able to be the best I can be at it. How I do something is how I am as a person.
So I have this friend who I work with. I am in a relationship, and he told me once that you should always be the one that has all the control, and that he was going to have to make choices for himself. A while ago this friend mentioned that he was in a really good mood. I agreed with him. We started laughing and I realized he was right.
