why do people go to weekly market

It’s not that I’m the only one that feels this way. I can recall times when I’ve simply been too lazy to go to market. It’s not always about the produce, just the fact that I don’t go to market.

To this day, I don’t miss going to the weekly market. I go it because I want to get my produce to market, and I dont want to be tied to the truck for hours. But the truth is, I don’t have to go to market to get my produce, and I feel guilty when I don’t.

In the old days, weekly markets were a place where farmers could sell their produce and get cash to pay for their water and roads. They were also a place where people would stop to chat with one another, which we now know was primarily about gossip about the gossip.
